It occurs to me that, once, quite a while ago when I was starting wire work, I had another necklace that I had given this name. No matter, this one refused to be named anything else, despite my best efforts.

This one is a gift to one of the authors that I admire greatly - Freda Warrington. If you haven't read her work... well, much of it is out of print, but I loved The Jewelfire Trilogy so much, I could never forget it, and it (and by natural extension, she) has influenced my writing and other crafts much. I also admire Freda's person, for I'm absolutely certain that one who writes as she does must be incredible in many ways - not the least, in resolve and discipline, both being qualities I aspire to.

Well! I hope she likes it.
